In an effort to offer an improved service delivery experience and assist the municipality to address the difficulty in collecting electricity revenue. Sol Plaatje was earmarked by National Treasury RT 29. Our management team lobbied for a GRANT to install the latest technology smart meters for extremely accurate meter readings.
These meters allow us to remotely monitor:

- Remote Shutoff
- Alarms

Note that these new Hexing Meters are:
- Being used at many other Municipalities Country wide.
- Hexing is SABC brand with years of experience
- All meters are calibrated at the factory
- All installations are done by a qualified Electrician.
